Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 July 2026
1. Information About the Collection of Personal Data and Contact Details of the Person Responsible
1.1 We are pleased that You are using Tempo (the "Application"). This Privacy Policy explains how We handle personal data when You use the Application, related account and sync features, support channels, and this website. Personal data means information that can identify You directly or indirectly.
1.2 The person responsible for data processing regarding Tempo is Andy Wu, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. Email: tempoenquire@gmail.com. The person responsible decides alone or jointly with others on the purposes and means of processing personal data.
2. Contact
When You contact Us by email or through support channels, We process the email address and information You provide so We can answer Your request and manage the related technical administration.
The legal basis for processing contact requests is Our legitimate interest in responding to You. If Your contact is aimed at concluding or managing a contract, the additional legal basis is performance of a contract. Contact data is deleted once Your request has been resolved unless legal retention obligations or legitimate dispute, security, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention needs require longer storage.
3. Data Processing for App Functionality
3.1 Tempo can store habit names, categories, icons, colours, schedules, reminders, completions, count values, session timestamps, timer settings, notes, theme settings, premium status, and related app preferences. Some built-in categories and habit templates are health or fitness-related, such as sleep, hydration, walking, stretching, and workouts. If You use those categories or create similar habits, Your habit content and completions may reveal health or fitness routines. If You use Tempo without signing in, this data stays on Your device unless You later sign in and choose to sync it.
3.2 Tempo's current iOS release uses Sign in with Apple for accounts. If You sign in with Apple, We receive the Apple user identifier and any name or email address You choose to share.
3.3 If You sign in, Tempo uses Supabase for authentication, database storage, and sync. Synced data may include Your profile, habits, completions, session timestamps, account-backed settings, and premium entitlement information.
3.4 The legal bases for this processing are performance of a contract for core app and account features, Your consent where required for optional permissions, and Our legitimate interests in providing a reliable and secure service.
4. Data Processing for Contract Processing and Purchases
4.1 Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive Your card number or full payment details.
4.2 Tempo uses RevenueCat Inc., 1032 E Brandon Blvd #3003, Brandon, FL 33511, USA, to manage subscription status, restore purchases, and unlock premium features. RevenueCat may receive purchase history, product identifiers, entitlement status, and the app user identifier used to connect Your subscription to Your Tempo account.
Your data is transmitted to RevenueCat only to the extent necessary for subscription processing, entitlement management, fraud prevention, support, and account restoration. Further information is available in RevenueCat's privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
5. Analytics, Diagnostics, and Crash Reporting
5.1 Tempo uses Sentry, 45 Fremont Street, 8th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA, for crash, error, and diagnostic reports. Reports may include device model, operating system version, app version, stack traces, session health, error context, and technical context needed to diagnose and fix bugs. Tempo configures Sentry not to attach default personal information.
5.2 Tempo uses PostHog Inc., 2261 Market Street #4008, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA, to understand app launches, screen views, feature usage, paywall events, subscription start events, timer events, habit category selections, and similar product interactions. Analytics events may include app version, build, operating system, device model, screen size, locale, time zone, app-scoped analytics identifiers, and the signed-in account identifier after You sign in. We avoid sending habit names, notes, or other free-text habit content as analytics event properties.
5.3 The legal bases are consent where required and Our legitimate interests in security, reliability, diagnostics, and improving the Service.
6. Notifications, Widgets, and Live Activities
If You enable reminders, Tempo schedules notifications on Your device. You can turn notifications off in Tempo or in iOS Settings.
Tempo may write limited habit, timer, progress, and premium-status data to the iOS app group container so Home Screen widgets and Live Activities can display and update selected information. This data is used to provide widget and timer functionality on Your device.
7. Service Providers and International Transfers
We use providers that help operate Tempo: Apple for App Store distribution, Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases, and notifications; Supabase for authentication, database, and sync; RevenueCat Inc., 1032 E Brandon Blvd #3003, Brandon, FL 33511, USA, for subscription management; PostHog Inc., 2261 Market Street #4008, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA, for product analytics; and Sentry, 45 Fremont Street, 8th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA, for crash, error, and diagnostic reporting.
These providers may process data in the United Kingdom, European Economic Area, United States, or other countries where they or their subprocessors operate. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or equivalent protections.
8. What We Do Not Do
We do not sell Your personal data. We do not use Your habit content for third-party advertising. We do not knowingly share personal data with data brokers. Tempo does not request location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, Apple Health, HealthKit, Motion & Fitness, or medical-record access for its core habit tracking features.
9. Retention and Deletion
Local app data remains on Your device until You delete it, sign out, reset app data, or uninstall the Application. Signing out removes local account data from that device, but it does not cancel subscriptions or automatically delete synced server records.
Synced account data is kept while Your account is active. To delete Your account and associated server data, open Settings > Account > Delete account, or email tempoenquire@gmail.com. We may keep limited records where required for security, legal, tax, accounting, dispute, or fraud-prevention purposes.
10. Rights of the Data Subject
10.1 Depending on where You live, applicable data protection law may grant You rights to information, access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, and complaint to a supervisory authority.

- Right to rectification: You may request correction of inaccurate personal data and completion of incomplete personal data.
- Right to deletion: You may request deletion of personal data where legal requirements are met. This right may not apply where processing is needed for legal obligations, public interest, freedom of expression and information, or legal claims.
- Right to restriction: You may request restriction of processing while accuracy, objections, legal claims, or processing grounds are being reviewed.
- Right to data portability: You may request personal data You provided to Us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format where technically feasible.
- Right to withdraw consent: You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future where processing is based on consent.
- Right to complain: You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, especially in the country where You live, work, or where an alleged infringement took place.
To exercise privacy rights, email tempoenquire@gmail.com. We may ask for information needed to verify Your request.
11. Right to Object
If We process Your personal data on the basis of legitimate interests, You have the right to object at any time, for reasons arising from Your particular situation, to this processing with effect for the future.
If You object, We will stop processing the data involved unless We can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override Your interests, rights, and freedoms, or unless processing is needed for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.
If Your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, You may object at any time. If You object, We will stop processing the data for direct marketing purposes.
12. Children
Tempo is not directed to children under 13 and should not be used by anyone below the minimum digital-consent age in their country without required parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If You believe a child has provided personal data, contact Us so We can delete it.
13. Automated Decisions
Tempo does not use personal data to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about You.
14. Changes
We may update this policy as Tempo changes. The latest version will be posted here with a new last-updated date.
